I’m completely jealous all the time of celebrities who get to put on big fancy ball gowns, but my jealous spiked to it’s highest levels when I saw Tyra in this dress.
OHHOLYCRAPSOBEAUTIFUL. Look at that upper structure. The beautiful spring color. The TRAIN. That crazy sculpted bodice! This dress is perfect, absolutely perfect. And it’s being worn by one of my favorite ladies, so maybe that makes me love it even more.
So blue was my summer! Yes, these shorts are BRIGHT blue, but colorful is a good thing when the temperature is way up there and everyone else is looking bright. Wear it to the beach, or a summer BBQ and watch the number of color-related compliments you’ll get. (HINT: This is also a good way to get ladies to notice you.)

These are probably a nightmare to walk in but I loved the bottom so much I couldn’t resist putting it up. I know what you’re thinking; Jax, why showcase a painful shoe? Well…I don’t know for sure if it’s painful…it just looks it? Someone go into the store and tell me. I can’t go myself because I’ll come out having bought this shoe regardless of how it feels (glutton for foot punishment: ME.)

Kate Middleton looks awesome again in Matthew Middleton. But wait…she wore this to the movies??? (Yes, I guess technically it could be called a “premiere,” but yeah, the movies.)
I think I wore a dress to the movies last year and my boyfriend was like “why are you in a dress?” and I was all like “because we’re eating dinner after and I wanted to look cute!” but then I was definitely the only person in the movie theater with a dress on and I felt awkward. Kate, I know how you feel.
This dress definitely needs a belt, but once you have the belt, we’re looking at a rockable frock! Might be too short for work? But perfect for a date!

Gray clutches and purses are so ladylike. Not in a preppy way. More of an English royalty sort of way. Seriously, don’t tell me you can’t imagine this in Kate Middleton’s closet.

So a model (the talented Natalia Vodianova) said that it’s better to be skinny than fat, and now the entire world is jumping down her throat. But she is defending her statement! And why shouldn’t she? I think what she said is actually true (IF she meant “healthy” by saying “skinny” and just picked the completely wrong word for her point.)
The number of diseases associated with obesity are numerous. I think she PROBABLY should have stayed away from the word “skinny,” and instead used a word like “healthy” or “fit in contrast (because that’s honestly what she meant, I think), but since English isn’t her first language, I’m gonna cut the chick some slack.
I’d like to start out this post by first acknowledging that although I love Claire Danes with the My So Called Life red-hair, I actually like her best as a blond. It’s so fresh and light and really works on her! Is it her natural color? It probably is…
Anyway…on to the dress! I’m not always a fan of Narcisco Rodriguez, but this dress cold make me a convert. It’s super sexy even though it doesn’t hug or inappropriately show off the goods.
